GENERAL GUIDE TO CREDIT GRADES

We have compiled a guide to help you estimate your credit grade. This is only a guide, as many companies have exceptions that may result in stricter or more lenient guidelines.

A borrower with a FICO score below 620 is considered high risk, and a borrower with a FICO score over 660 is considered a below-average risk.
For a bankruptcy or foreclosure, the grades indicate:

A+     None allowed within 10 years

A -     Minimum 2 years, reestablished credit

B       Minimum 2 years, some lates

C      Minimum 1 year

D      Discharged
